Frank Rydzewski

I believe the best products and technology should disappear into the background, empowering the people who use them to focus on what actually matters. I’ve spent more than 20 years building things as well as leading product and engineering teams. I started my career as a software engineer at Cerner, where over two decades I grew from writing code to leading product and engineering across Cerner's Patient and Consumer facing solutions.

The journey from individual contributor to executive gave me a deep appreciation for what it takes to build software that genuinely helps people. In 2021, I joined Validic as VP of Product and have since taken on responsibility for both product and engineering, helping the team push forward on the technology that connects our platform to the healthcare ecosystem. What keeps me here is the same thing that got me here: a team that cares deeply about the mission and builds with both craft and urgency.

Outside of work, I'm usually involved in one of my many hobbies and always love trying to learn something new. Right now that means keeping my older German cars on the road (if you own German cars, you know the struggle), playing guitar, getting lost in agentic AI to write personalized software at a pace that would have seemed absurd a few years ago (turns out the engineer in me never really left), 3D printing, gaming, and an ever-growing list of home improvement projects that my wife would tell you is more ambitious than my weekends allow.
