Selma Pittman

Senior Vice President, Client Experience

Selma Pittman is Vice President of Client Enablement at Validic, where she leads the teams responsible for delivering, supporting, and scaling client success across the company’s digital health platform.

Since joining Validic in 2015, Selma has held a range of leadership roles spanning client enablement and product-adjacent functions. This breadth of experience gives her a practical, end-to-end perspective on the customer lifecycle, from platform capabilities and integrations to implementation, support, and long-term value realization. She is known for turning complex, often messy healthcare implementations into structured, repeatable systems that actually work in the real world.

Selma’s leadership sits at the intersection of product, operations, and client experience. She has played a key role in accelerating implementation timelines, improving client activation, and building scalable self-service strategies that reduce friction for both clients and internal teams. Her approach is grounded in a clear belief: healthcare organizations don’t need more theoretical solutions, they need technology that holds up under real-world pressure.

She is particularly focused on helping clients move beyond initial deployment to sustained, meaningful use, ensuring digital health programs translate into measurable outcomes rather than stalled pilots. Her work has also contributed to broader industry conversations around device integration, interoperability, and the operational realities of scaling connected health solutions.

What sets Selma apart is her combination of operational rigor and plain-spoken realism. She has little patience for complexity that exists for its own sake and is known for building systems that are as pragmatic as they are effective.

Outside of work, Selma brings that same intensity to everything from engineering-grade hobbies to highly opinionated entertainment debates. When not leading client experience, she can be found spending time with her wife and daughter, building mechanical keyboards or high-speed RC machines, assembling elaborate LEGO builds, or refining an ever-growing vinyl collection with a level of audio precision that borders on obsessive. She is an unapologetic advocate for great storytelling, firmly believes Arcane is the standard others should be judged against, and maintains strong, ongoing opinions about skincare routines, gaming replays (Mass Effect is a yearly ritual, and Horizon Zero Dawn should be required playing for all in AI leadership roles), and sideline coaching at youth soccer games. She also occasionally casts a wistful glance at a motorcycle she insists she will ride again.
